Mi Cocina entre Mundos grew out of cooking recipes from different places, testing them at home and adapting them to the ingredients, equipment and time I actually have available.
I want to preserve the spirit of each preparation without treating recipes as rigid rules. Sometimes a recipe needs to change because an ingredient is hard to find, the season is different or another method is simply more practical.
I cook from Germany, but this blog is not intended only for people who live here. Many of the substitutions, equivalents and adaptations can also help readers in other countries who want to prepare a dish but cannot find the exact original ingredients.
When Thermomix or another appliance makes the work easier, I present it as an option. I also reduce garlic or leave it optional whenever possible, because not everyone tolerates it well.
The idea is simple: recipes from around the world, genuinely cooked, tested and adapted.
